The Ljubljana Coffee Festival premiered in 2016 as a gift to our capital and coffee culture in Slovenia. As the largest specialty coffee festival in Slovenia, it represents an invaluable contribution to the development of the coffee community and has a leading influence on the development of the entire coffee industry in our country.

This year’s program with lectures, workshops, competitions and tastings at the highest level in the industry attracts specialty coffee lovers from all over Europe.

It boasts the participation of world-renowned international experts, such as scientists, owners of world-famous coffee estates, roasters, European coffee importers and baristas, including world champions.

During the two days of coffee ecstasy, you will be able to enjoy unlimited tastings of coffees from the best Slovenian and foreign roasters and in the meantime take a walk between the stands of various exhibitors from the world of the coffee industry.

Attractive competitions such as the Latte Art Throwdown and the Barista Battle Challenge with a total prize pool of more than €10,000.00 attract the best baristas from all over Europe. To ensure the comfort of following the festival, you will be able to visit the Street Food corner, where we will spoil you with selected artisan food, top-quality desserts and craft drinks.

The festival follows the most innovative trends from the specialty industry and thus uncompromisingly builds coffee culture and contributes to the educational, economic and touristic development of the integrated coffee industry in Slovenia.

It puts the capital of Slovenia on the world map alongside Europe’s largest “Specialty” coffee festivals.
